I remember I saved my sony points for 3 years to buy a sony mirrorless camera. and bought NEX-6 practically the month it became available in Canada in late 2012. But most of the times when I see something like this, there just isn't enough time to go grab my camera and worry about whether it's charged or not. I however always have my cellphone with me every waking minute of my life ( thanks to conditioning by my previous work ). Every time I encounter a moment like this, I am glad I spent money on my Samsung Galaxy S series phone. this pic was taken with hand holding the phone braced against deck railing to steady it at 30x zoom and using S-pen to trigger the shutter using other hand to avoid movement. It will fail every test as a professional photograph but it works beautifully as a captured memory. And that's enough for me.
