Don't discount the Snapic A1 because of its simplicity; this camera punches well above its weight and is a lot of fun to use!

One thing I found with mine is that if you squeeze it in the wrong place on the back you can slow the film advance too much and it thinks it's got to the end of film and will rewind early. I wonder if that is also the cause of any minor spacing issues as well?
I love mine.
