@StopKillingGames@mastodon.social @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu The initiative is extremely bad and weak. These clauses basically change nothing:

Citizens must not be forced to identify themselves [..] unless strictly necessary, proportionate and provided by law
The legislation should require anonymous or pseudonymous proof-of-age, data minimisation, [etc.]
There is no anonymous verification of age, there is no private system for any of that. Age verification should not exist AT ALL. It shouldn't require nor allow this
