I combined the original image with some pier photos to create a mysterious beachy scene.

I converted the original image to black and white in Snapseed and made it look a bit foggy, then I worked the rest in Photoshop with layers and settings. There are three images in this image: the original, the pier, and the ocean water/wave. It has a creepy abandoned feeling.
