Photograph of a museum room seen through a round window. The window opens to a room with 3 floors. The window with the point of view opens to the middle floor. The bottom floor has glass case displays with smaller artifacts such as ceramics. The middle floor ends with doors to a room with life-size statues, including a statue of an armless Venus in the center of the perspective and the center of the photograph. The top floor can only be seen from underneath, as a walkway bridging the room above the window and the room above the statue of Venus. The ceiling of the multi-floor room is unseen. Overall, the architecture and display of the museum are marked by an important symmetry within the perspective of the photograph.
