Crossing the Bridge, 1.

I recently got to see the lovely musical “Brooklyn’s Bridge,” about the brilliant Emily Roebling, who supervised the bridge’s construction after her husband the chief engineer was incapacitated. Afterwards the audience was invited to walk across the bridge itself, accompanied by tour guides. It had been years since I last crossed it on foot, and I was thrilled to see the walkway again.
