I’m waiting, patiently, to see what emerges out of these pods on Exoplanet 73525. One has already flown, so another must emerge soon. Here’s for not reading the travel book, not watching the videos, of having something as a surprise. To see something hatch, something emerge, something you have never seen before.

A photo of a flower. A detail photo of a flower that is still in the pod state. But not how you think. It looks like one flower, with the centre sitting there waiting for the petals that have not grown yet. That does not make any sense. But really it is a collection of purple and yellow pods all mushed together to make up the flower. A few of the pods on the outside have tiny purple petals growing out of the open pods, but really it is still not open. The middle looks like a collection of tennis balls, with the seam showing where they will open. Of the pods in the middle, there is one that has opened. Is showing the opened purple petals, which shows how the other pods are closed and how they will open. Could be seeds on a foreign planet. That is bad writing, I’ll have to work on that.

@hodomania_simpson@indieauthors.social I've read the post, then looked at the image, then read the alt text. I find all 3 beautiful, and the alt text pretty much well-written. Can it be improved? Probably. Is it bad writing? Not if you ask me. I'm a bad writer; I know how bad writing looks like. Trust me.
