An upward view along an elevated concrete railway viaduct, seen from below at a steep angle so it recedes diagonally into the distance on the right. The viaduct has a projecting concrete ledge and rows of arched openings at street level. A tall steel lattice mast with overhead lines and insulators rises above it. On the left stand modern multi-storey buildings, including a glass-fronted facade and a brick-and-window office block. The sky is blue with scattered white clouds. The palette is largely grey with cooler tones.
