The image is a black and white photograph depicting an early 20th-century postcard. It shows the picturesque town of Bordighera, specifically highlighting its historical district known as Citta Vecchia (Old Town). In the foreground are large trees with dense foliage silhouetted against the sky. A path winds through what appears to be a park or garden area leading towards residential buildings in the middle ground. The architecture consists mainly of multi-story homes and villas, indicative of European styles common during that era.

On top of one building stands a small tower resembling a church belfry with a dome-like roof, which is likely a landmark within Bordighera. To the right side of this image, there's another prominent structure, possibly part of the town’s historical architecture or infrastructure such as an aqueduct given its arched design.

There are several people in period clothing visible; one person can be seen walking on the path while others appear seated under um
