🇱🇻🇱🇹 Soviet era mosaics and murals left at long-abandoned locations across Latvia and Lithuania.

Oh, and these are all shot on 35mm film on a 1970s USSR camera. Developed by me at home in my "darkroom" (bathroom, at night 😂)

Was that camera a 'Zenit'(sp?)

I had one of those in the late 1970s then in the early 1980s I moved up to an Olympus OM2, which was probably the best camera I ever owned.

Anyway, it's nearly 'that time of year', so do please let me know when the calendar for next year becomes available? Thanks!

When I saw the mural with the airplanes, I already thought of Russia, which your text then confirmed.
It’s actually a beautiful picture—if only the politics behind it weren’t so bad. So even though I haven’t experienced it myself, as I looked at it, images of drill, party politics, obedience, and so on came to mind.
