Having nobly entered the World Warrior competition to raise money for victims of imperialism, mystic warrior Dhalsim is coerced into traveling to the (recently collapsed?) Soviet Union to beat upon it's champion, the burly bear wrestler* Zangief. Capital and imperialism have forced these men who would otherwise be class comrades into competition, withering the revolutionary spirit before it can bloom.
