I arrived in Chicago on August 7 sometime after 10 am. Because I didn't know that most of Indiana uses Eastern Time, I was disappointed that I did not gain an hour of sleep due to time change when announcements woke me up. I like it that the Viewliner roomette's upper bunk has windows and unlike the Superliner, I can sit up on the upper bunk. This is Chicago Union Station. While waiting for Empire Builder scheduled at 3:05 pm, I went out and had some Chicago tavern style pizza.
