7 Around #Southwold

The 15th century St Edmund's Church in Southwold, #Suffolk - One of the county's finest. You can see yesterday's angel in the roof.

The image depicts the interior of a grand, historic church or cathedral. The space is characterized by:

- **High, intricately designed wooden ceilings** with exposed beams and decorative patterns.
- **Tall, arched stone columns** lining both sides of the central aisle, supporting the structure.
- **Wooden pews** arranged neatly on either side of the aisle, leading toward the altar.
- **Stained glass windows** at the far end, allowing colorful light to filter into the space.
- **A central aisle** with a carpet runner, leading to the altar area, which is elevated and framed by ornate woodwork.
- **Natural light** streaming in through the windows, illuminating the space and highlighting the architectural details.
