Is a mainstream Bluetooth speaker really open source hardware?

At #SFSCON, Nicole Faerber ( @fsfe@mastodon.social ) put that claim to the test.

Teufel released their #MYND speaker in 2025 as an "Open Source Project", full design files and firmware included. Nicole actually dug into those files to see if it holds up.
