Let's see if works:

I'm a SW engineer, I'm very proficient with C++ (25yrs, I'm one of the coauthors of the static reflection feature), Python 20y, Bash 20y, I have quite a lot devops and some webdev experience. I have done team/tech leading and I have also taught at a university for 12 years (OS/Shell, SQL DBs, meta-programming, Linux kernel programming, etc.)

I'm looking for a new IT job, with the above in mind, preferably remote (in GMT+1)

Boosts appreciated

I have worked in industrial process monitoring, safety, fire protection for large industrial sites, on medical devices and systems (defibrillators, patient monitoring, hospital systems), medical research support tools and robotics (AGVs, AMRs)

I also worked on some visualization applications (mostly in OpenGL, some VK) I have a good understanding of the GPU rendering pipelines.

I'm leaving my current job because of constant overtime requirements.

@matus_chochlik@mastodon.online what domains have you worked in and what kind of problems have you solved so far, outside of language features (which is impressive, but rarely pays the bills sadly 😅).
