A small, constructed waterfall with water spilling over evenly in the left side of the frame. The surface of the water below is white with bubbles. The water is bound by a stone wall in the upper right quarter of the frame. At the bottom of the waterfall, near the wall, is a blue ball floating on the surface. The ball is located just below the center of the frame. The water is bouncing off the ball and splashing into the air. The still parts of the water look dark with a brownish color.

@mspounds@mastodon.world Do weirs in Japan just come with blue balls installed in them?

(I'm kidding. The reason why I've seen this same thing in different places is because rivers have play areas and schools next to them, and kids gonna kid.)
