Found some old scans of Ektachrome slides I shot while backpacking through Guatemala in the 1990's

On some old stone stairs, a young boy is cleaning the shoes of a man. We can see a public market behind them, some rough tarps for shade, people going about their day. The man wears a light colored cowboy hat, a white long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He does not appear to be wearing shiny leather shoes - he's just a simple man, having his shoes cleaned.

Found some old scans of Ektachrome slides I shot while backpacking through Guatemala in the 1990's

A color photo of a corner store in Guatemala. The store has bright yellow walls with a red base along the ground. It has an old clay tile peaked roof, and arched doorways on either side of the corner. The words "DEPOSITO MASHENITA" is painted over each doorway. There are cases of empty bottles stacked up outside the door on one side, and a few old hand trucks on the other.
