During my recent adventures in #Cyclotography, where I have been riding my bike and photographing with the tiny OM System TG-7, I began to wonder if I could use it for more creative, experimental images.
While the RAW files from the tiny sensor needed a lot of work before I was happy with them, the answer is yes.
Here I used the TG-7 to record abstract reflections on the surface of a large pond on a dull, grey day with little light or contrast.

Looking up to the ornate glass ceiling inside Glasgow City Chambers on George Square, the stone and marble stairs and arches remind me of the moving stairs in the fictional Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Three women office workers captured walking between two tall modern buildings lined with plate-glass walls, where their reflections are disrupted by the glass and surrounding marble so that only their lower legs can be seen as they pass a couple of tall trees.

Flowers growing in a thick border around an ornate glass and stone memorial sculpture in Stirling. The white marble sculptures stand out against a clear blue sky.

The warped reflection of a modern, glass-fronted office building looks like a glitch in the matrix, caused by the curving and very shiny metal bonnet of a new car.

A black umbrella covered in fine raindrops beneath what is known in Glasgow as the Heilanman's Umbrella, the underpass beneath Central Station which is home to a range of shops and historically was where visitors from the Highlands were known to gather.

Reflections of buildings and a well-lit stone tenement can ben seen on this multi-layered scene.

I have been riding my bike around the city to find scenes to photograph with my OM System Tough TG-7.
I'm calling it #Cyclotography and I'm keen to do more of it.
The Pros: Fitness (Glasgow is hilly!), mental health, broader horizons, freedom, saving money and reducing carbon emissions.
The Cons: Rain, inconsiderate drivers, buses, missing scenes because I have to concentrate on the roads, bike security when stopping to make images.
The pros far outweigh the cons.
