With the end of the 2026 drum corps season, I thought it would be good to look back at the photos, articles, and coverage I wrote throughout the season. My second article of the season was for the long running Drum Corps Grand Prix competition in Clifton, New Jersey.

It is a historical fact that George Washington crossed the Delaware River into New Jersey in one of the most daring raids of the Revolutionary War. Unlike General Washington, only I will remember my crossing of the Delaware, but I was doing so as a returning champion . . . of sorts.
