Did you know mullein stalks were once dipped in tallow for torches and used as lamp wicks?

Close-up vertical shot of two tall white mullein flower spires in full bloom. The spires are covered in small, creamy white petals with fuzzy purple centres and tiny green buds at the top. The background is softly blurred into a dreamy wash of pastel pink and warm yellow garden flowers, illuminated by gentle, diffused natural daylight.
