#photography #firearm #matchlock #musket #reenactors

English Civil War reënactor firing a matchlock musket, the man's face is obscured by smoke, there is flame from where the smouldering match has ignited the gunpowder primer, literally a flash in the pan.

A second reënactor is loading his musket. Behind both is the 14ᵗʰ century Lower Brockhampton House.
