Ancient Temple, Modern Clutter

Beyond a web of overhead power lines strung along Nishiazabu's urban landscape, an ancient Buddhist temple pagoda is glimpsed. The traditional multi-tiered roof rises above the wires and nearby greenery, creating a striking contrast between old and new Tokyo under a dramatic cloudy sky.

Under the Flyover: Hobson's and Santa Barbara at the Junction

A calm street scene framed by a concrete flyover structure. Beyond the junction, the deep teal facade of the Hobson's store features a large semicircular arched window inscribed with SANTA BARBARA. Road signs for Roppongi-dori Ave. and Gaiennishi-dori Ave. stand quietly under the gentle afternoon sunlight.
