My daughter had to hand-lfertilize the flowers because the companion plum didn't bloom.

My daughter had to hand-lfertilize the flowers because the companion plum didn't bloom.

Four light golden-green plums nestle on a tree branch surrounded by oval, green, serrate leaves with light green venation. If you look closely at the plums you can see the skins are not evenly colored, but are intricately splotched and veined in layers of green, gold, white and golden brown.

Die Pflaumenernte fällt in diesem Jahr sehr bescheiden aus. Dennoch reicht es für einen kleinen Kuchen mit Butterstreusel in der 20 cm Springform aus. Der Teig wurde stilecht mit dem RG28s gerührt. 🍰 The plum harvest is very meager this year. Nevertheless, there is enough for a small cake with buttery streusel topping, baked in a 20 cm springform pan. The batter was mixed—in authentic fashion—using the RG28s.
