Questa settimana ad Helsinki è la Helsinki Design Week. In giro per la città ci sono mostre ed installazioni dedicate.
Questa è la Futuro House, progettata dall’architetto finlandese Matti Suuronen negli anni settanta.
Ne sono state prodotte e vendute circa 100, questa era in mostra al Giardino Botanico di Helsinki.
Volevamo vederla anche un po’ dentro ma la fila era luuuuunga….

A silver Futuro House stands on metal supports on a lawn at the Helsinki Botanical Garden. The futuristic, UFO-shaped structure has a smooth oval body surrounded by elliptical windows and a small white staircase leading to its entrance. Trees and garden vegetation frame the unusual 1960s Finnish design beneath a pale, overcast sky.

When the sky touches the sea and the veil between worlds dissolves, the ferryman crosses.

Foggy seascape where sky and water blend into the same pale blue, horizon barely visible.
