https://fotografia.cultura.gov.it/iccd/item/FFC020417

The image shows a vintage postcard of the port area in Naples, Italy. The main focus is on several large sailing ships docked at a harbor with clear blue water. In the background stands Castel S. Elmo (Saint Elmo Castle), identifiable by its prominent structure and flagpole bearing an Italian flag. To the left side of the postcard, there's text indicating that this view was captured from "Veduta del Porto Militare e Castel S. Elmo," which translates to Viewpoint at Military Port and Saint Elmo Castle. The colors in the image are somewhat faded with a vintage aesthetic typical for aged photographs or postcards. The sky has hues of light blue, suggesting it might be early morning or late afternoon when the sun is not too harsh on colors. Overall, this picture captures a historical glimpse into Naples' maritime activity and its landmarks from what appears to be several decades ago.
