Glass - Steel - clean Lines

Monochrome details of two high-rise buildings. Set against a pale blue sky with white clouds, two interconnected high-rises are visible; both buildings feature facades with large expanses of glass. The surroundings are reflected in the large windows. The afternoon sun creates bold highlights and shadows, even on the lower sections of the buildings. The facade visible in the center of the image has less window area; darker steel staircases with landings leading to the glass doors stand out prominently here. The steps of the external staircase and the cloudy sky are reflected in the glass doors that open onto the landings on each floor. The photo was taken from an S-Bahn station in Munich

Rusted industrial components, Mare Island CA

If anyone knows what these are or what they're for will you please let me know? As always, I photographed them because I liked the way they look. Thanks.

Color photo of rows of orange and dark red steel forms that resemble square boxes stacked on top of each other.
