Yesterday, we went down to Eastbourne to watch The Beachy Head World Championship Penny Farthing Hill Climb Time Trial. I hate to think how these riders must have suffered towards the middle of the route when the inclines are seriously hard. I don't have the wherewithal to attempt the route even on my MTB much less on a fixie...

Grade 1 listed church dedicated to Julian of Le Mans. Thought to be one of the oldest churches in Sussex, with much of the present building from the C11 and C13. Remains from the earlier Saxon church were discovered in 1964. Flint with sandstone dressings and Horsham slab roof. Kingston Buci, West Sussex, UK.
