About a month ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding that was anything but ordinary.

Altro...About a month ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding that was anything but ordinary.
No traditional white dress and black suit here. Instead, a Viking-inspired bride who loves books, and a mage carrying a sword. Their wedding was filled with unusual rituals, personal details, and countless special moments—and they trusted me to preserve them.
After the main ceremony, I took the newlyweds outside for a dedicated portrait session. This image became one of my favourites: the bride gently placing her hand against the chest of her husband, her wedding ring clearly visible, while his ring hangs from the chain around his neck.
I deliberately focused on the rings, allowing the couple themselves to fall softly into the background. The rings become the visual anchor—and a small detail that tells a much larger story.
That day was intense. With unexpected rituals, changing conditions and a very full schedule, I ended up making more than 2,000 photographs. After the selection and editing process, almost 400 images found their way into the wedding album I designed for them.
And the most important part?
They loved the result.
They have given me permission to share some of their photographs on my website, and I will gradually share a few here as well.
This one, I think, gives you a pretty good idea of just how wonderfully unconventional their wedding was.
