I’m trying to get my 1950 MG TD to convince me it’s reliable enough to drive 132 miles to Sandusky, Ohio, in two weeks. So far I’ve found lots of things to fix and made a reservation for a tow trailer for the trip.
Yesterday I took it for a lovely shakedown cruise on Woodward Ave. The Dream Cruise is a week away, but lots of other classics were out taking a spin.

@patioboater@mastodon.social I have three old cars and drive them all, but yeah, it's always a bit nerve wracking getting ready for a long trip. I do a 500-mile trip every November for a car show, but then again I don't have Lucas electricals in mine 😀. Best of luck on your trip!
