124/365 Why? (see ALT text)

#photography #365project #blackandwhite #monochrome #archive

Black and white photo of a power substation in landscape format.

The foreground has a chain link fence running horizontally across the frame from left to right at a 30 degree angle with a vertical support pole in the middle. To the right of the support pole, a white sign with black text horizontally centered reads:

"SAFETY HAZARD"
DO NOT LOCK BIKES TO THE FENCE
LOCKS WILL BE CUT

Behind the fence in the background are various current carrying components.

Obviously people lock their bikes to the fence, which is why the sign was posted. But it still begs the question: how could anyone lack the common sense to not figure this out themself?!?!

@goTo_devNull@mastodon.social Every sign has a story I guess 😅
Amazing picture! Shooting it in black and white and with the sign it makes it even more ominous looking, love it!
