This is the biggest one I harvested this year: 13.6 cm in diameter and the weight is 1,056 grams. Not too bad... ;) good for Zwiebelkuchen!

I know that with some types of produce the size of them affects the taste. For example, smaller strawberries are often sweeter.
Do you know if something similar can be said about onions? Are the big ones as flavourful as the small ones? Or maybe more flavourful?
