The arches in the bridge towers aren’t obviously doorways until you’re walking right under them.

A photo I took looking up at one of the massive limestone-and-granite towers of the Brooklyn Bridge as I was walking on the pedestrian path directly underneath. Through the tall, sunlit archway we see cables stretching out to the second bridge tower in the distance, against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline under a blue sky with cumulus clouds.
