Here's a fine old sign in Newtonmore.

An old cast-iron fingerpost sign pointing to BANCHOR CEMETERY with the rest of the text in Gaelic, reading, "An Rathad Daingnichte Le Lagh Gu Cladh Bhrighde", which means something like, "the legally established road to the cemetery of Bridget" (to whom the chapel was dedicated).
