120/365 John chronicled +50 years with his 1958 Thunderbird during our 15 minutes chat. It survived 2 marriages, multiple overhauls, and "rough use".

A film shooter, he proudly showed me a number of prints taken on journeys with his car across the US.

His passion made my day. IMHO sticking with anything for over 50 years is admirable. Wished him many more years of good memories with his beloved.

Before taking the photo John asked to give him a couple minutes to close the trunk and engine, and retract the convertible's soft-top roof. He then propped himself up on the driver side door with right hand placed on the small side window, right knee bent over the door, and left left planted on the ground for balance.

Groups of spectators to the car show, a number of other cars on display, and a typical US small town business and residential structures are in the background.
