The photograph is a black and white aerial view of the coastal town of Scampia, with various buildings spread across the landscape. The foreground features an expansive sandy beach dotted with numerous sun loungers and umbrellas, indicating recreational use by visitors or residents. A prominent building complex near the water's edge appears to be a hotel or public facility, surrounded by smaller structures that could serve as additional accommodation or amenities for tourists.

In the mid-ground, more densely populated residential areas are visible, showcasing multi-story buildings with flat roofs and varying architectural styles. The background reveals rolling hills with vegetation covering some parts of it, which suggests a semi-rural setting beyond the urbanized area. The topography indicates that Scampia is situated in an area where coastal development meets hilly terrain.

The photograph captures what seems to be a typical sunny day at the beach and within the town, likely aim
