The image depicts a black and white photograph of the coastal town of Scuari, also known as Latina. The view is taken from the sea looking towards the shore with multiple low-rise buildings densely packed along the coastline on an elevated plain. In the distance are rolling hills or mountains partially obscured by atmospheric haze, suggesting a possible misty environment at the time the photo was captured. The foreground features an expansive sandy beach dotted with numerous sun loungers and umbrellas, indicating recreational use by visitors or residents. A prominent building complex near the water's edge appears to be a hotel or public facility, surrounded by smaller structures that could serve as additional accommodation or amenities for tourists. In the mid-ground, more densely populated residential areas are visible, showcasing multi-story buildings with flat roofs and varying architectural styles. The background reveals rolling hills with vegetation covering some parts of it, which suggests a semi-rural setting beyond the urbanized area. The topography indicates that Scampia is situated in an area where coastal development meets hilly terrain. The photograph captures what seems to be a typical sunny day at the beach and within the town, likely aim
