Nesting Red-rumped Parrots I found this morning in the dry weir at the caravan park we're staying in.

A brightly coloured male Red-rumped Parrot stand on a fallen, dry tree. Next to him, out of a hole in the side of the tree, pops out a muted green female Red-rumped Parrot.

There are three Red-rumped Parrots in this shot. On a fork of a dead tree with a hollow in the end, there's a male and female pair, and higher up on another fork there's a male ready to take flight.

A female Red-rumped Parrot (muted grey-green with the faintest hint of red on the rump) perched on the edge of a tree hollow she's using as a nest. On the neighbouring fork of the tree, sits the male in bright turquoise, green, yellow and red.
