Ärjänsaari, Oulujärvi, Oulu. We spend two nights going through the area and it really was something you don't see everyday. The whole island is slowly fading away into the lake and it has already lost 1/3 of its original size.

Not only the environment is extraordinary but also the history: it has been a sacred place for Same people and järvirosvot, so called lake pirates, have been using it as a hiding place.
