It's hot (for us at least) but thankfully the humidity isn't bad. I'm thinking about taking Kengo out to the lake next weekend after his two remaining laser treatments are over🙏 . He's bored and so am I.

@masayuki60@social.vivaldi.net the mix of very hit, dry weather then sudden rain has brought out the chestnuts here already. Normally an autumn thing, but friend & I found several dropped from a tree a week back, very early.
When we were kids these were treasure. Kids collected them, made a hole to put a string through then play "cheggers", where each swung their chestnut at the other, trying to break it. I don't think kids today even know the game, but was beloved for generations
