A quiet residence glimpsed across calm water through stone arches.

Port Arthur, Tasmania, Australia.

A black and white photograph framed by the thick vertical stone masonry of an adjacent archway in the foreground. Looking across a smooth body of water, a small white single story cottage sits on the far bank against a dense forest of tall trees. Sunlight reflects softly off the surface of the water, drawing the eye toward the distant home.
