Deux pluviers grand gravelot au milieu de plantes sèches, au bord d'un étang. On en voit un bien net, de profil, au centre de l'image. en haut à gauche, on voit la moitié d'un deuxième gravelot, la tête sort du cadre. L'eau peu profonde renvoie le bleu pastel légèrement gris du ciel.
