Morning of day 3 on Empire Builder to Seattle, after breakfast. I had a nice conversation with some youths returning to Seattle after a trip to Glacier National Park at the dining car during breakfast. I ate the blueberries that they didn't like and couldn't finish. This is the only time in this trip when I saw Mt. Rainier. The other days in Seattle, the weather did not permit me to see it. Forgot exactly where this photo was taken. My favorite parts of the Empire Builder route are Glacier National Park, the midst of WA like here, and the shoreline from Everett to Seattle (next post). #amtrak #washington #mtrainier #river #landscape #photography #darktable
