Textile nerds might enjoy these blanket-making images from the Golden Fleece Woolen Mill (a belt-driven factory) in Magrath, Alberta, around 1940.

Black and white image of people working in a woolen mill managing huge piles of shorn wool straight from the sheep. A large mill machine which seems to be taking spun wool and making it into shorter/smaller bobbin like devices. It's a long machine with several dozen spools being handled at once. A woman works on a weaving or spinning device of some kind. A large room with several weaving devices which are outputting nice looking blankets.
