Man loopt langs affiche van Persil wasmiddel, Parijs, Ed van der Elsken, 1950 - 1954

http://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/collection/RP-F-2019-298-26-52

A black and white photograph depicts a street scene in Paris. A person is walking on the sidewalk, dressed in dark clothing with light-colored shoes. To their left stands an imposing poster of a horse's head above the text "Persil lave plus," suggesting it’s an advertisement for Persil laundry detergent. The background shows various posters and notices attached to what appears to be a wall or structure; these include different advertisements, information about theaters ("Studio Coulon" among them), and some illegible text in French such as "Alba", "Hussards", and others that might indicate cultural events.
