Just wanted to say I am aware I’ve been quieter than usual lately. Have been making progress on a few blogs that cover fascinating bits of #hacking #history that have been sorely neglected and have a whole history of #ransomware series planned but have been very busy. Please excuse this downtime.

The next two big pushes I will make will be around the seventies and the early nineties in terms of FOIA requests, blogs, videos, archives, etc. If there are any periods or events you think are neglected please let me know! Cutoff of time covered is around 2005, for reasons I can happily explain.
This project is pretty much my favorite hobby and consumes a lot of my spare time even if I am not posting as regularly. I only wish I had more time and energy to give. It genuinely feels like an honour to be an amateur historian covering such important and under documented events.
Thanks to all my followers and especially anyone who has donated to get archived news footage retrieved, without all of you this would be a lot less fun and fulfilling. It is tough blogging in 2026!
I have a massive backlog of planned FOIA requests to get to and will continue to grab videos relating to the history of hacking and place them on Internet Archive for safekeeping. The work continues even if it is slowed a little.
