The image is a stark black and white silhouette, capturing a scene on a bridge. The dominant elements are the silhouette of a person and the intricate branches of trees against a bright sky.

In the foreground, a figure, silhouetted against the bright sky, stands on a pathway leading up to a bridge. The person appears to be wearing a coat and a hat, with their face obscured. They are positioned towards the left of the frame.

The bridge itself is a prominent feature, rendered as a solid black silhouette. It has a railing with decorative, spherical finials on top of posts. The railing and posts create a series of strong vertical and horizontal lines, broken by the spaces between the balusters, which allow the bright sky to show through. Shadows cast by the bridge and its structure are visible on the pathway.
