Getting in an early #monDuck today. This is a female eider duck with ducklings. Photo taken in 2009, possibly in, or around, Seahouses harbour, Northumberland.

A brown mottled duck with a triangular beak, swimming in water next to a concrete wall. She has a number of small, fluffy brown ducklings (eiderlings?) swimming with her. The water is a slightly blue-ish grey with ripples.
