Rusty Fence, Rusty Foliage

This color photograph captures a close-up fragment of an old wrought-iron fence. The metal bars, curved into decorative swirls and topped with pointed finials, are covered in deep, warm rust. A thin, almost invisible spiderweb is stretched between the bars. In the background, through the fence, a dense carpet of fallen brown leaves and green grass is visible, along with a few living green leaves breaking through the metal. The image is built on contrast and, at the same time, on merging: cold, oxidized metal and warm, fading nature, where the autumn "rust" of the foliage echoes the rust of the iron.
