It's a little bit weird being both totally average in your survey, and very far from people around me.

Hello, well, I should mention that my favorite browser is Brave, my file manager is Proton Pasa, my search engine is the eco-friendly Ecosia, and my messaging app is Signal. Thank you very much, Tuta community!😊

Litte surprised to see bitwarden over KeePassXC. I don't know anyone using Bitwarden, but that is just anecdotal. I use KeePassXC with syncthing and it works wonderfully across my devices!

@Tutanota@mastodon.social Qwant zu niedrig für meinen Geschmack, sonst passt die Liste.

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social No in the list at all? 😮

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social If there were a ranking of two-factor authenticators, I would choose Aegis.

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social I would like you to also look at the browser https://orionbrowser.com/. Would it make sense for him to join the list?

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social element and matrix is the same thing tho.

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social why are element and matrix separate? Element is just a Matrix client

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social Can someone recocmmend a firefox-based browser for android that supports cookie-deletion-exceptions?
I use my browsers with no history or cookies, but in firefox or iceraven you're can't create exception rules

@Tutanota@mastodon.social im really 😲 surprised is not among the messengers...

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social ok, 59% of the Tuta users are mentally challenged when it comes to browser choices.

37% are using the shitty baked-in AI features browser.

22% are using the shitty backed-in AI features browser + embedded crypto bullshit.

On Desktop: Librewolf + DuckDuckGo + Signal + Bitwarden

On Mobile: IronFox + DuckDuckGo + Signal + Bitwarden

@Tutanota@mastodon.social i don't get the percentages. We are missing 10% at the browsers, 22% password managers, 13% search engines, 13% messaging apps (the two times 3% matrix/element which are the same was already addressed)

What happened to all the other percentages? There wont be so many more password managers or search engines right? Especially if they have even lower percentages...

@Tutanota@mastodon.social Bitwarden is my favorite. Simple to organize.

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social I use duck duck, because, he doesn't have many features, I want to search and find links for my workday. It's very simple.

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social I really like Signal, but, in Brazil it is very difficult, predominantly Whatsapp.

@Tutanota@mastodon.social

Browsers: Zen on desktop, Waterfox on Android, Vivaldi on deck if I need a Chromium browser

Search Engine: currently using Search For Trees because they don't integrate LLM AI into their platform, otherwise I'd prefer Ecosia or NoAI DDG

Messaging: Element

Password: KeePass preferred, Bitwarden for Microsoft and Google tokens

@Tutanota@mastodon.social je suis sur hélium depuis plusieurs semaines. J'aime bien. Je recommande.

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social Element and Matrix are kind of the same, right?

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social Just one thing: Element and [m] matrix are basically the same. Element is a client to use the [m]atrix-protocol

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social I'm missing the Operating System (Windows, Linux, Android, Mac/iOS)
for me it's:
Linux, Vivaldi, Bitwarden, Ecosia/Startpage and [m]atrix

0

@Tutanota@mastodon.social Matrix is a protocol, and Element is a Matrix client. Thus they should not appear in the same ranking.
