f/4, 1/220s, ISO 160.

An old, weathered structure covered in a torn tarp lies abandoned in a dense forest, resting on a fallen log among ferns and birch trees. The wooden and metal frame beneath the tarp shows signs of decay, with peeling paint in white and rust tones.

An abandoned small room in an English care home, with vines over the fireplace and leaves on the floor. Beds, wardrobes, and a red armchair furnish the space.

118/365 See this quite often; a forgotten item in a park or other public place. It always makes me wonder what caused the item's owner to be distracted and forget they left something behind.

The mug was likely a gift. :(

Black and white photo in portrait format of a steel coffee mug forgotten and left behind in a public park on top of a trash receptacle. The top part of dark colored cylindrical trash receptacle is centered in the bottom third of the frame. The receptable has a "roof" over the opening to dispose of trash. Sitting on top of the roof is a dark colored handleless steel mug with four ribs at the bottom. "Only the best Dads get promoted to Grandpa" are inscribed above the ribs in white-lettering. In the background: a steel guardrail running horizontally across the frame directly behind the trash receptacle; a left-tilted power line with power lines running horizontally from left to right across the top of the frame in the far distance; an open gazebo in the middle of the frame in the mid distance; dark colored foliage and trees in starting in the middle of the frame and extending to the top left in the mid distance.
